Despite being a WordPress site, it behaves like a single-page app. All thanks to Swup library, used to create page transitions, and Flying Pages plugin, which drastically shortens the time of loading subpages.
Custom content
Gutenberg and custom post types combined with the Advanced Custom Fields plugin allowed to create a unique, but also easy to manage website. It has a portfolio and news content types, and a few custom blocks that can be used by editors.
